Recently, Kangana expressed her discontent with veteran actor Annu Kapoor's comments on her slap incident at the Chandigarh airport a few weeks ago. Reacting to Kapoor's remark, the actress has shared a video on her Instagram stories and questioned whether society tends to dislike successful, beautiful, and powerful women more passionately.
She wrote, "Do you agree with Annu Kapoor ji that we tend to hate a successful woman, hate her more if she is beautiful and hate her even more passionately if she is powerful? Is it true?"

Now, Annu Kapoor has responded to the actress' reaction to his comments. He addressed the controversy in a long note and clarified that he can never disrespect any woman, mentioning that his statement about her has been misconstrued and misunderstood.
On the work front, Kangana will be next seen in her directorial 'Emergency' in which she portrays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, and the late actor Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.
