Mohit Sinha bags two films

Life ab patri pe aa gayi hai, says actor and Lucknowite Mohit Sinha who has a couple of releases this year

He may have had a two-minute role of a journalist who comes to click Vidya Balan in bathtub in “The Dirty Picture”, but actor Mohit Sinha from Lucknow says he has got the required fame from it. “During the shooting, I had a decent sized role in “The Dirty Picture” but when it was later cut to reduce the duration of the movie.I was disappointed,” says Mohit, who was recently in town. Adding further he says, “However, to my surprise those two minutes were enough for me to get noticed in the eyes of people and fetch me work. I now have “Kismat Love Paisa Dilli” and “Tukkaa Fitt”. Plus the shooting for “Mohalla Assi” has also resumed after a long break. So things are going pretty good for me now. Life ab patri pe aa gayi hai.”

And this success has given hope also to his personal life. “I am in a committed relationship and though my girl is not from this field, she has been my support all through my struggle. So far, I used to always wonder that how will I approach her parents. Har roz toh log Mumbai actor banne aate hain. But now that she and her family has seen me on screen they are convinced that I am getting work.” So when is marriage on the cards? “Usko toh abhi time hai but yes, I can visualize a future with her.”
WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR?
During his visit to Lucknow Mohit had a great time with his friends. “We did all the masti we used to do when I was staying in Lucknow. And the best was we also watched “The Dirty Picture” together. Plus, since I was coming to Lucknow after a long time, we went to all those hangout joints where used to go during our school days. It was a memorable trip,” he says.
