Parul Gulati on Tanushree Dutta's controversy: If something like this happens to any girl, in any industry, she must speak up

Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar’s controversy is getting a new twist every day. On one hand, there are celebrities like Twinkle Khanna, Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhaskar and more standing in support of the actress, there some other stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan who refused to share their opinion on the same. However, Punjabi actress Parul Gulati didn’t fear to speak her mind, when was asked about her take on the whole case.The actress who was last seen in 2016 released ‘Zoravar’ said that though she doesn’t know Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar personally if the accusations are true, there’s some serious issue with the society. He also added, that if any girl goes through sexual harassment, she should speak up about it and take the charge.

“A lot has been discussed over this incident recently by a lot of people without knowing the actual scenario. Neither do I know Tanushree or Mr. Patekar personally. All I have to say is, if something like this happens to any girl, in any industry, she must speak up and take a charge. If she has been shunned by people around her and told that she would be thrown out of her job, then we have some serious issues in our society to deal with. I hope and wish that something like this never happens to any woman or human being in any kind of profession.”, quoted Parul Gulati.

Tanushree Dutta has accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ in 2008 during a song shoot. The actress also said that even Choreographer Ganesh Acharya misbehaved with her. Nana, on the other hand, has called all the allegations false, but Tanushree Dutta remains firm on her words.
