Ranbir Kapoor gets emotional after Mahesh Bhatt calls him 'world's best father': 'He has never said such things to me in person'

Ranbir Kapoor embraced fatherhood after he welcomed his daughter Raha with his wife Alia Bhatt in 2022. Ever since then, baby Raha has Ranbir's entire world wrapped around her little fingers.
Now, in a special video, the actor's father-in-law Mahesh Bhatt praised Ranbir and called him 'world's best father' and it left the 'Animal' star all emotional.

In the video, Bhatt said, "lia, who I believe is a miracle, says Ranbir is one of the best actors in our country.But I believe Ranbir is the world’s best father. When he sees Raha (Ranbir and Alia’s daughter), I wish you could see his eyes at that time. His mother, Neetu Kapoor, says, ‘Aisa pyaar toh maa karti hai apni bachiyo se jo Ranbir karta hai Raha se.’ I’m proud I have a son-in-law like Ranbir."

After watching the video, Ranbir got all emotional and said, "He (Mahesh Bhatt) has never said such things to me in person. So thank you Indian Idol for this. Sasur ji se pass hogaya hu main'.

Ranbir had graced a singing reality show along with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna where he was shown the video message. On the same show, Ranbir was asked about the songs he sings for his daughter. The actor responded, “Do gaane hai, Ek to English song hai thoda irritating sa, Baby Shark Do Do Do Do and dusra and ‘Lalla Lalla Lori’.
On the work front, Ranbir is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, 'Animal'. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 1. 2023.
