Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal wedding: Manisha Koirala sends a wedding gift for her 'Heeramandi' co-star

In a heartwarming gesture, veteran actress Manisha Koirala sent a lavish wedding gift to her 'Heeramandi' co-star Sonakshi Sinha ahead of her nuptials to Zaheer Iqbal.
Ahead of the big day, as pooja ceremonies began in the actress' bungalow, a large present wrapped in gold paper was seen being delivered, accompanied by a huge flower bouquet. Paparazzi at the site caught glimpses of the huge gift being given to the bride-to-be as she brimmed with excitement for the big day.
Manisha and Sonakshi shared the screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's historical drama 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', where they portrayed rival characters.Koirala's character, Mallikajaan, and Sinha's character, Fareedan, engaged in intense on-screen rivalry, but off-screen, the camaraderie between the actresses was evident during the long press tours.

Sonakshi and Zaheer, who have been dating for seven years, will tie the knot this Sunday. The wedding festivities will be followed by a grand celebration at actress Shilpa Shetty’s plush restaurant, in Mumbai.
The couple's special day is expected to see a star-studded guest list, including prominent personalities such as Huma Qureshi and Aayush Sharma. Buzz is that Salman Khan will also be a part of the celebrations.

Ahead of the big day, Sonakshi, joined her parent's last evening for pre-wedding ceremonies. Pandits were spotted arriving at her home to conduct a special pooja the whole family in attendance. For the ceremony, Sona opted for a simple blue salwar suit. Before heading in for the ceremony, she greeted the paparazzi and showed off the mehendi on her hands.
