India’s first zero budget Hindi film, ‘Befikar Besahare’, directed by an MBA graduate, stars budding actor from Lucknow, Mohit Sinha.
"In the movie, I am playing Mridul Pachauri, an MBA student from Uttar Pradesh, who has lost his parents and is living with his brother and bhabhi and is looking for a job,” says Mohit Sinha, a pass-out of CMS, Station Road branch.
Mohit who has used typical UP ki language in the movie says that opting for the movie wasn’t an easy choice.“When I had gone to audition for this role I did not have the slightest clue that I will not be paid a single penny for it. For an actor who is just starting out in the entertainment world, this came as a shock to me. However, no one put any pressure on me to do the movie.
Later, when I thought about the uniqueness of the film – this being the only Indian movie to be made without any investment, I decided to give it a shot. I am, now, just hoping that the the final outcome will be worth the risk,” he smiles.
