Cheran to helm a Sudeep film?

Ever since actor Kichcha Sudeep confirmed that he has three projects in hand, there have been several speculations about the collaborations. Now, the latest buzz in tinsel town is that the actor will be collaborating with national-award winning Tamil director Cheran. Of the three films he has announced, two are likely to be helmed by Tamil directors - KS Ravikumar and Cheran.Apart from this, Sudeep has Billa Ranga Baasha in the pipeline with Rangitaranga, Vikranth Rona director Anup Bhandari. A film with Ranna director Nandakishore is also said to be on the cards.

It can be recalled that Sudeep’s directorial debut, My Autograph, was a remake of Cheran’s film, Autograph. A few years ago, at the audio launch of Mudinja Ivana Pudi (Tamil dubbed version of Kotigobba-2), Cheran had spoken highly about Sudeep. He even mentioned that Sudeep was able replicate the commercial success of Autograph and Swathi Muthyam, and has won both as an actor as well as a filmmaker.
An official confirmation on the projects is likely only after the Karnataka elections.
