Love knows no boundaries! Age, ethnicity, religion, nothing matters when it comes to love. 'Kattu Kadal Athirukal' (Wind Wave Boundaries) which discusses the Rohingya refugee crisis and also weaves a beautiful love story has finally locked its release date. The movie will hit screens tomorrow (Jan 31). Touted to be based on true incidents, the movie will tell the story of the Rohingyan refugees as well as the Tibetan people, who migrated to India.
The impressive trailer, released a few days ago, promises deep insight into the lives of refugees. As the nation is witnessing protests against the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), the relevance of the movie is apparent. As per our sources, the makers of the movie received a lot of objections initially as the plot focuses on the lives of refugees.

The movie is directed by Samad Mankada and backed by Shaji EK, under the banner of Cocoon Productions. Anu Mohan essays the lead role, while Leona Lishoy, Dawa Lamho, Kailesh, Anil Murali, Shanavas Mambally, Keerthana, Sharan, and Idavela Rafi will play the supporting cast. Leona Lishoy will be seen as a journalist in the movie. S Sharat has crafted the story while K Sajimon has written the screenplay. Ancer Ash Thwayyib has cranked the camera and Vipin M G is the editor. The movie has received a UA certificate and is gearing for its release tomorrow.
