Prithviraj Sukumaran joins the set of ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil'

Director Vipin Das, known for the film 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey,' is set to helm the upcoming project 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil.' The film, a follow-up to his previous success, stars Basil Joseph, the lead of his previous venture, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. The latest reports confirm that Prithviraj has commenced shooting for his part on the film's set.

Sources suggest that Prithviraj's schedule for the film spans around 10 to 12 days in the ongoing shooting phase.The production has scheduled its final leg, the 5th and last schedule, tentatively in January or February 2024. Reportedly, Prithviraj Sukumaran will be playing an antagonist character in the movie.

The film, scripted by Deepu Pradeep, revolves around a wedding set against the backdrop of the sacred town of Guruvayur in Kerala. Adding depth to the narrative, the female leads are portrayed by Nikhila Vimal and Anaswara Rajan. Notably, Tamil comedian Yogi Babu is set to play a significant role, amplifying the movie's entertainment quotient.
