Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's 'Nayagan' to re-release on THIS date

Mani Ratnam’s 'Nayagan' starring Kamal Haasan is gearing up for a re-release after 34 years, and the makers have locked a date for the film's re-release. A new poster has been unveiled by the makers to announce the re-release of 'Nayagan' and the film is set to occupy the big screens one more time from November 3.
Kamal Haasan starrer 'Nayagan' is one of the cult classic hits in Tamil, and the Mani Ratnam directorial is an inspiration for many.The ever-green film was released in 1987 and it turned out to be a huge hit.

As Kamal Haasan will be celebrating his 69th birthday this November on the 7th, the makers of 'Nayagan' have planned to re-release the film as a treat to fans on the special day of their favorite. The remastered version of 'Nayagan' will be running in theatres, and it will be quite a nostalgic moment for film enthusiasts as well as fans of Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, 'Nayagan' features Kamal Haasan as a gangster, and the film narrates the story of a young boy's journey of becoming a gangster in Mumbai. Saranya, Janagaraj, Nassar, Karthika, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Delhi Ganesh among others played crucial roles, while the film music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
It is worth mentioning that the 'Nayagan' duo Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam have reunited after three decades for the actor's 234th film, and the official announcement regarding the film was made on Kamal Haasan's last birthday. The pre-production work for the film is happening briskly, and the film’s shooting will commence soon.
