Santhanam's 'Vadakkupatti Ramasamy' trailer

Popular actor Santhanam's upcoming film 'Vadakkupatti Ramasamy' directed Karthik Yogi is gearing up for release soon. The makers of the period comedy which is set in the backdrop of the 1960s, have released the trailer of the film. The film which has Megha Akash playing the female lead is all set to hit the screens on February 2, 2024.
Sharing the trailer of the film, Santhanam wrote, "Ready, set, laugh! Excited to unveil the highly anticipated trailer for Vadakkapatti Ramasamy, my upcoming project releasing on Feb 2nd.Get ready for a comical journey where superstitions and reality collide. Join the fun—don't miss out!"

The over two minute trailer gives a glimpse of the fun and entertainment that the film has to offer and promises a fun-filled comedy entertainer. The cast includes Tamizh playing the antagonist's role with actors like MS Baaskar, Nizhalgal Ravi, Ravi Maria, John Vijay, Seshu, Jacqueline, and Motta Rajendran playing supporting roles. Music director Sean Roldan, cinematographer Deepak and editor Shiva Nandeeswaran form the core technical crew.
Director Karthik Yogi is a self-confessed fan of Goundamani, has titled this film, too, borrowing from a word used by the legendary comedian in one of his comedy tracks.
