Venkat Prabhu says it’s his wish to make another film with Ajith

Director Venkat Prabhu, who announced today that his upcoming film, RK Nagar release has been postponed, said that that the film will hit screens after elections. He has co-produced the political thriller along with Badri Kasturi.
In the meantime, when Venkat Prabhu was asked about another upcoming film, which is rumoured to be with Thala Ajith, Venkat Prabhu replied that the film was indeed on but that it was too early to reveal anything about it.He added that he can comment only after he sealed the deal with Thala. Though Venkat Prabhu said that it was his wish to make another film with Thala Ajith, he said that there are lot of responsibilities involved- to find a producer, a subject for the actor, satisfy his fans- to name a few.
Ajith and Venkat Prabhu had earlier worked in Mankatha, an action entertainer. The film had an ensemble cast including Ajith, Arjun, Trisha, Anjali, Andrea Jeremiah, Lakshmi Raai, Vaibhav Reddy, Premgi Amaren and Mahat Raghavendra. Venkat Prabhu is currently busy with STR’s Maanadu.
