Dhanush departs Mumbai after the incident of his bodyguards pushing away fans at Juhu beach
Dhanush, a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, was recently spotted leaving Mumbai late Tuesday night, accompanied by his two sons and a team of security personnel. This departure followed a day of shooting for his upcoming film ‘Kubera’ at Juhu Beach, which unfortunately ended on a controversial note.
Earlier in the day, a video surfaced and quickly went viral, capturing Dhanush's bodyguards forcefully pushing away fans who had assembled at Juhu Beach hoping to see the actor.
The incident unfolded as Dhanush made his way from his caravan to the beach, with excited fans trying to snap pictures and videos. The aggressive intervention by his bodyguards, who pushed the fans away, has sparked considerable backlash on social media.

After Nagarjuna, Dhanush's Bodyguard Pushes Fans at Mumbai Beach | Internet Calls for 'Boycott'

In the video, Dhanush was seen heading towards the beach while his bodyguards formed a protective barrier around him. Fans were seen trying to get closer to the actor, but the bodyguards’ forceful actions to keep them at bay have not been well received by the public. Many netizens expressed their disappointment and anger over the treatment of the fans, who were merely excited to see their favorite star.
This incident comes on the heels of a similar controversy involving actor Nagarjuna’s bodyguard. Recently, a video surfaced showing Nagarjuna’s bodyguard pushing away a fan at Mumbai airport. The fan, who was eager to meet the star, was aggressively shoved, resulting in him falling to the ground. The actor, however, did not react and continued walking, a response that further fueled public outrage.
Despite the controversy, Dhanush maintained his composure. He was later photographed at the airport, where he greeted paparazzi with a smile. Wearing a white hoodie and matching joggers, he was seen holding a boarding pass, ready to depart the city. His calm demeanor at the airport stood in stark contrast to the earlier turmoil at Juhu Beach.

Directed by Shekhar Kammula, 'Kubera', is currently being shot in Mumbai. With this project Dhanush and Nagarjuna are joining forces for the first time; hence, all the buzz. Alongside Dhanush and Nagarjuna, stars like Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles in the movie, which is slated for a 2025 release.
