Is Prabhas playing Raavana in Vishnu Manchu's 'Kannappa'?

Prabhas plays an extended cameo in the upcoming Telugu film 'Kannappa' that stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead role. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, 'Kannappa' is written by Vishnu Manchu based on the epic historic story of Shiva's devotee.
The film features Vishnu Manchu, Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Preity Mukundhan, Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, and Madhoo.Aishwarya, Mukesh Rishi, Kajal Aggarwal, and Tamannah Bhatia, among others. The music for it is composed by Stepehen Devassy, and the film is said to be released in theaters by the end of this year.
The teaser for the film was launched on June 14, and it was revealed that Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of Lord Shiva in the film. Now, media reports suggest that Prabhas, who was scarcely visible in the teaser, will be seen playing the role of Ravana (from the Ramayana), who is also an ardent Shiva devotee. News 18 reports stated that the historical drama is set during a wartime period and features a lot of action, giving us a glimpse of Ravana's kingship.
However, we have to wait for the trailer for the film to be launched, which will give us hints and clues about the characters played in the film based on the historic epic story.
