'Kaliveerudu' to be on the lines of 'Kantara'

After arriving on the national scene big-time with the 'KGF' franchise, the Kannada film industry's pride shot up by leaps and bounds with the blockbuster mystical drama, 'Kantara'. And now, following the footsteps of Kantara, the latest Kannada movie, 'Kaliveera', is winning acclaim besides winning hearts at the box-office.
Very soon, 'Kaliveera' is going to address the Telugu states.The film has been dubbed in Telugu as 'Kaliveerudu'. Popular film distributor M. Atchibabu acquired the Telugu version's distribution rights by shelling out a bomb and is planning a grand release across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
'Kaliveerudu' has the latest Kannada sensation 'Ekalavya', who is popular for his realistic fights, playing the lead role. Chirasree is the leading lady in this Avi directorial. Danny Kuttappa, Tabla Nani, Anitha Bhat and others essayed important roles in the movie. The film is slated for release in the second half of July. Producer M. Atchibabu is confident that Kaliveerudu will recreate the kind of sensation Kantara had created upon its release.
