Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, recently appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is set to return to the silver screen after fulfilling his political duties. He is gearing up for his much-anticipated period drama, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword vs Spirit', which has been in production for an extended period. The film's makers have recently provided an exciting update on its progress.
In a recent interview with 123Telugu, filmmaker A.M.
Rathnam shared some key highlights of the film. He mentioned that a significant sequence was shot at the Machilipatnam port, and to ensure top-notch CGI, they have engaged a company from Iran. To bridge any communication gaps, a representative from Iran is currently in India, overseeing the work. The CGI for this sequence is expected to be completed within the next 10-15 days.

Rathnam also revealed that they filmed a Kusthi (wrestling) episode, with VFX work being handled in Bangalore. Additionally, the visual effects for a scene set at the historic Charminar are underway in Hyderabad. The goal, Rathnam explained, is to use visual effects to take the audience back to the olden days, which is why the process is taking extra time.
One of the film's most ambitious scenes involves a tiger sequence, for which a Canadian company is handling the CGI. Although some scenes are still pending, the team is committed to completing the shoot as soon as possible so that post-production can commence.

'Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword vs Spirit' has a star-studded cast, it features Niddhi Agerwal as the female lead and Bobby Deol after his 'Animal' fame will be again seen back in the shoes of the main antagonist. The film is expected to hit theatres by the end of this year.
