Vishwak Sen announces 'Gangs of Godavari' release date in 'Aavesham' style after multiple delays

'Gangs of Godavari', starring Vishwak Sen, is one of the most anticipated rural action dramas in Telugu cinema. Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film has faced several postponements but is finally set to hit theaters on May 31st.
Vishwak Sen has cleverly used these delays to his advantage in promoting the film. Taking the promotional style of the hit film 'Aavesham', he created a playful reel.In 'Aavesham', starring Fahadh Faasil, a viral reel features the actor standing near a pillar with its music. Vishwak Sen replicated this idea with the music, making a humorous video about the repeated postponements of 'Gangs of Godavari'.
This lighthearted approach has resonated with fans, as he himself mocks the film for facing multiple delays.

The film, which also stars Neha Shetty and Anjali in leading roles, was initially scheduled for release on December 8th, then March 8th, and later May 17th. Each time, the release was pushed back, making fans restless and frustrated. However, the team has now confirmed that the film will definitely premiere on May 31st, with no further delays.
In the promotional video shared on social media, Vishwak Sen reassured fans that the film's release date is final. He wrote, "Lankala Rathna X Ranga Cheta ఈసారి ఒక్కోక్కడికి శివాలెత్తిపోద్దంతే!! "Gangs of Godavari is hitting theaters worldwide on May 31st!" .
