Minorities outfit criticises US for biased report

NEW DELHI: Indian Minorities Foundation on Thursday criticised the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, arguing that its latest report undermines its credibility and understanding of India's religious freedom landscape, reported.
It accused Antony Blinken of bias and questioned the fairness of assessing free speech and hate speech based on country of origin.It also accused USCIRF of harbouring a divisive agenda and condemned it for its "efforts" to categorise India alongside authoritarian regimes in Afghanistan, Cuba, North Korea, Russia and China, arguing that this comparison overlooks India's democratic framework.
