Paper leaks mess: UP govt to bring in Ordinance, life in prison for guilty
NEW DELHI: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has proposed the Uttar Pradesh Public Examinations Ordinance, 2024, in wake of the paper leak of Constable Recruitment Exam and RO-ARO exam in the state.
The proposal has been approved by the state cabinet.
The Ordinance provides for life imprisonment and fine of up to Rs 1 crore for the guilty.
