LG launches 2024 Soundbar range with Dolby Atmos, AI Room Calibration, and WOW Synergy

LG has unveiled its latest range of soundbars for 2024 in India The new line-up, featuring models SQ75TR, SG10Y, SQ70TY, S77TY, and S65TR, is set to hit Indian markets in July, with prices starting at INR 29,990. The company says that the 2024 soundbars are designed to seamlessly integrate with LG TVs, offering enhanced audio quality and immersive sound technologies.
Key features of the new soundbar range include Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, providing a surround sound experience that promises to transform living rooms into home theatres.

LG's new soundbars introduce several new features, including WOW Synergy, which optimises audio channels between the soundbar and LG TV, creating an enlarged soundstage with improved depth and height. The Triple Level Spatial Sound technology utilises a 3D engine for channel analysis, delivering lifelike sound with a compelling sense of space.
Another notable feature is the AI Room Calibration, which analyses room acoustics and adjusts settings accordingly. This feature has now been extended to calibrate rear surround speakers as well. The WOWCAST technology allows wireless connection between the SG10TY model and LG TVs, ensuring superior sound quality even with Dolby Atmos content.
The flagship SG10TY model is specifically designed to complement LG's premium OLED TVs, offering a wireless home entertainment setup with no visible cables. It also supports high-fidelity audio streaming from platforms like Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect.
For QNED TV owners, LG introduces the S70TY model, featuring the industry's first centre up-firing speaker for enhanced voice clarity. A dedicated bracket allows for flexible placement options without the need for wall drilling.
Young Hwan Jung, Director of Home Entertainment at LG Electronics India, emphasised the company's commitment to innovation and bringing premium audio features to a wider range of consumers. He stated, "These soundbars embody our dedication to innovation and our promise to bring the best in audio technology to Indian homes."
