‘Priyotoma’ fame Idhika Paul celebrates her birthday by planting saplings; Gives away a special message

Idhika Paul turned 26 this year. The actress celebrated her birthday a couple of days ago. Social media was abuzz with birthday wishes for the ‘Rimli’ famed actress. From colleagues in the Bengali entertainment industry to the fanpages – wishes poured in for Idhika on her special day. However, this time, Idhika’s birthday was celebrated a bit differently.The actress recently took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of how she actually celebrated her special day.

Idhika posted a video on Instagram where she was seen planting saplings with her own hand. The actress was seen somewhere around the countryside, where she along with her team conducted a tree plantation drive on her birthday. Idhika was seen wearing a green oversized shirt with a pair of distressed jeans. Post the tree plantation activity, the actress cut a birthday cake with the locals and kids. The actress served her birthday to the kids as well. Idhika shared the heartwarming video on Instagram and wrote, “My kind of Birthday Celebration it was….”
Idhika, who rose to fame with ‘Rimli’ and ‘Pilu’, is set to debut in Tollywood with ‘Khadaan’. The actress has already made her debut on the big screen with the Bangladeshi film ‘Priyotoma’, where she starred along with Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan. The film was directed by Himel Ashraf and produced by Arshad Adnan.

Idhika is set to debut in Tollywood with ‘Khadaan’ where she will be sharing the screen with none other than Tollywood superstar Dev. Khadaan is a story of the coal mines and the struggle of the mine workers. Helmed by Soojit Dutta, it is a story buried in the shadows, where every page is stained with the blood of the untold struggles of the miners. The film is jointly produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Surinder Films. While Dev and Jisshu play vital parts in the film, Idhika has been cast as a significant character. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
