Satyam Bhattacharya to feature in Rahool Mukherjee-directed series

Director Rahool Mukherjee has managed to woo the audience with his films ‘Kishmish’ and ‘Dilkhus’. Over the past few days, Tolly Para is abuzz with the news of his new web series that has a stellar star cast. While Solanki Roy is essaying the female lead, Rahool has yet another surprise for the audience.
According to sources, Satyam Bhattacharya, who was highly praised for his performance in Ánirban Bhattacharya directed ‘Ballabhpurer Roopkotha’, is likely to play the male lead.The makers are keen on casting Satyam opposite Gaatchora’s Khori aka actress Solanki Roy.
The series, which will soon hit the shooting floor, will also feature Shantilal Mukhopadhyay, Chandreyee Ghosh, Anasua Majumder, and many other eminent artists in prominent roles.
This is the first time, Satyam and Solanki will team up for a project. Both the actors are familiar faces to the audience. Satyam, who has a theatre background, is currently one of the most sought-after artists in this industry. The actor, who caught the attention of the audience in Prosenjit Chatterjee starrer ‘Nirontor’, has a few meaty projects besides the Rahool-directed upcoming series. Satyam and his Ballabhpurer Roopkotha co-star Debraj Bhattacharya are teaming up for Abhinandan Dutta’s upcoming web series. He will be seen in Dev’s new movie as well.
Meanwhile, Solanki was busy with the TV show ‘Gaatchora’ prior to this. She recently announced her exit from the popular TV drama. The actress used to play the female protagonist Khori’s role in the show, while actor Gourab Chatterjee, who is still a part of the project, plays the male lead. Her movie ‘Shohorer Ushnotomo Diney’ will soon premiere.
