Actor and Producer JD Majethia’s father passes away; writes ‘Rest in utmost peace my most loved man’

Shri Nagardasbhai Majethia, father of actor, producer and director Jamnadas Majethia (JD), passed away this morning (December 25). The funeral will be held this evening - December 25, 2023, at Dahanukar Wadi Crematorium at 4:30 pm.
JD Majethia shared a happy picture with his father and wrote, “Rest in utmost peace my most loved man and be like this eternally.” He also shared, “My most loved man, my dad Nagardas Majithia left us for heavenly abode on 25/12/23.”

JD is renowned for his contributions to Gujarati and Hindi plays, dramas, serials, and films, he has left an indelible mark in the entertainment industry.Notably, he has produced highly successful shows such as "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai" and "Khichdi," solidifying his status as a highly accomplished show-maker.

He also visited Bigg Boss 17 for one of the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. He reprised his role as Himanshu Seth in the film ‘Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan’. He attended the show along with other cast members Supriya Pathak, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak and Rajiv Mehta too will be present.

Producer JD Majethia achieved an incredible feat by climbing the Everest Base Camp at the age of 57. The producer went on an 11-day Everest Base Camp climb and spoke about his enriching experience with ETimes TV. He is currently producing two shows on TV – Wagle Ki Duniya and Pushpa Impossible.
