Exclusive! Barkha Bisht: Our divorce should come through soon

Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht, who got married in March 2008, have been living separately for the past two years. We have heard that their divorce is likely to come through soon. When we reached out to Barkha, she said, “Yes, our divorce should come through soon. This has been one of the toughest decisions of my life.” Indraneil remained unavailable for comment.
Indraneil and Barkha met on the set of Pyaar Ke Do Naam...Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam in 2006.They fell in love and tied the knot two years later. They have an 11-year-old daughter Meira. Their friends and colleagues were shocked when reports of trouble in their marriage first surfaced in June 2021.
While Barkha refused to comment on the reasons behind the split, she shared how her daughter and work continue to be her top priority. She said, “I am a single mother and Meira is my priority. On the work front, I have been doing interesting projects in the OTT space. I am open to good projects in TV and films, too.”
Barkha has been part of many TV shows and films. She has acted in Shaadi Mubarak, Paramavatar Shri Krishna recently and has been part of films like Ram Leela and Villain. Indraneil has been part of shows like Nimki Mukhiya and Srimad Bhagwat Puran, and has been acting in Bengali films since the past few years.
