TV show Meetha Khatta Pyaar Hamara will go off air on July 10. The show has wrapped up in two-and-a-half months. , Avinash Mishra, Aarchi Sachdeva and Prerna Singh played the lead roles.
When we reached out to Avinash, he said, "When a show wraps up in two-and-a-half months, that means somewhere we have gone wrong with the script. Script and a good storyline are very important.
I would not blame anything else. I feel audiences want to watch newer concepts and not a remake or a concept which has already been used in an old show. We all gave our best but somewhere I feel the story did not appeal to the masses."
The actor, who has been part of shows like Yeh Rishten Hain Pyaar Ke, Titli, Nath, Durga added, "I am not taking a break after this show but I want to focus on interesting stories. It is important that we choose the right projects. A show always runs on a good script. I hope to find something meaty and interesting."
The show started with two best friends Saanchi and Saajeri wanting to make it big in life and how they come across this guy Shivam, who instantly falls in love with Saanchi. But Saajeri falls in Shivam and circumstances force the two get married. The makers did try to bring in many twists and turns in the show.
