Exclusive: Harish Raj comes full circle after 25 years, and is back on TV

Actor Harish Raj has now joined the cast of serial Jothe Jotheyalli as Vishwas Desai, brother of a rich businessman, Aryavardhan. He plays an NRI who has returned to his motherland.
Harish Raj says, “Jothe Jotheyalli is one of the popular serials on Kannada general entertainment channels. I am aware about the controversies around the serial. There are both positive and negative comments about my role on social media, but as an actor, I only consider my role which is key to the plot.”
Talking about his role, he explains, “After suffering financial loss in business abroad, I return to my roots.There are lots of emotions which keep the plot going forward. I have allotted 15 days to the serial and rest of the days in the month to films.”

The actor has completed 25 years in acting. “It feels like life has come a full circle. I started my career with television, and now I have made a comeback to television after 25 years, a sheer co-incidence. I am glad to have worked with legendary directors like Girish Kasaravalli, Maniratnam and Rajendra Singh Babu in films.”
Harish will soon produce a movie, with him in the lead. “The project, which will have thriller elements, will go on floors soon.”
