Sreemukhi-hosted ‘Jathiratnalu’ to premiere on April 4

A new stand-up comedy show will entertain the Telugu telly audiences very soon.
The upcoming show hosted by ace anchor Sreemukhi is set to premiere on April 4. The makers of the show have confirmed the same with a teaser.
Going by the teaser, the show will feature nearly 60 stand up comedians who were handpicked from over 10,000 auditions across the two Telugu speaking states.

For the unversed, the 2021 comedy drama ‘Jathiratnalu’ featuring Naveen Polishetty, Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi in the leads emerged as the biggest hits of the calendar year. It is the story of three simpletons from a small town like Jogpet and their adventure in Hyderabad.
Now, the upcoming stand-up comedy show with the same title is expected to live up to the title in entertaining the telly audiences. Notably, Sreemukhi has hosted comedy shows like Adirindhi, Bomma Adirindhi and Comedy Stars in the past. But she will be hosting a stand-up comedy show for television apparently for the first time.
On the career front, Sreemukhi is currently seen hosting the ongoing 14th edition of the music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu. She also played a cameo in the reality show Super Queen.
Jathiratnalu will air on weekdays at 9PM.
