BJP and JD(S) to forge alliance in Karnataka for Lok Sabha polls, Congress says it's not worried

The Janata Dal (Secular) and the BJP have finally tied up an electoral alliance for the Lok Sabha polls. JD(S) patriarch and former PM HD Devegowda has given his approval for the JD(S)-BJP deal. Earlier, BJP leader BS Yediyurappa had hinted at possibility of both parties joining hands. The alliance is aimed at preventing Congress from increasing its Lok Sabha tally in Karnataka. However, reacting to the deal, Congress has said that the JD(S)-BJP alliance won’t impact its performance.
