Career

Before Wilson was appointed to the Mississippi Court of Appeals, he was an attorney in private practice with the law firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. He was with the firm from 2009 to 2012. He served as counsel to Governor Bryant from 2012 to 2014, before returning to the firm. Previously, he worked for a law firm in Washington, D.C. and as a law clerk for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He was also an adjunct professor at the Mississippi College School of Law.[1]

Judge Wilson ran against Judge Edwin Hannan and attorney Dow Yoder to remain on the bench in 2016.[2] Wilson and Hannan advanced to a runoff election on November 29, 2016. Wilson won the election.
