I am a long time resident of Harris County. I moved to Harris County in 1977 from San Antonio. I have been a very hands-on businessman for the last 35 years here in Harris County. It has been an extreme please to serve our wonderful community for those 35 years. I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1983 to 1987 after I graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena in 1981. Public service takes a great deal of time and dedication and I know I have what it takes to successfully serve the people in our county and community.

  • As Justice of the Peace in Precinct 2 Place 1, I will take the time and effort required to make a fair and impartial judgement in every case that comes before me. There will be no rash decisions.
  • Compassion and respect are my highest priority. Every person that will come before me will be treated equally and with respect. The law will be adhered to and respected, but I will do so giving everyone the time and respect they deserve.
  • In complex cases of eviction I will look exhaustively at every avenue to find and consider every possible solution. I will look for Harris County sponsored programs that will help people stay in their homes. I will look for creative solutions to complex problems.

Fairness and equlity are foremost in my priorities. I want to be sure that the law is always applied fairly in every case.

A spirit of service is most essential in an elected official. In the position of Justice of the Peace, a fair-minded and level headed demeanor is essential.

I am a very positive and energetic individual. I am fair-minded and dedicated to every task before me.
Being a local businessman for the last 35 years I have worked closely with the public and with more than just a handful of employees.
I've learned the importance of treating every employee and their varied problems with compassion and fairness. Many of my employees have remained in my employ for over 25 years. My first employee every retired just 3 years ago with 32 years of service.

Giving every person and every case the required effort and time and a great understanding of the law are most essential to a Justice of the Peace.

As a child I remember the 1976 bi-centennial celebrations. I was 13 years old and I asked my teachers what all the commotion was about because I had not a clue and I learned alot about the founding of our country. That was a very memorable time.

My first job as a young man was at Southmore Hospital in Pasadena. I worked in the physical therapy department. It was my job to transport patients to and from the floors to the physical therapy department for their scheduled therapy.
I also did the set up and clean up of the therapy rooms before and after every session.
Working with the patients and the therapists was very enjoyable and memorable.
