Robin Righter (Democratic Party) ran for election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 48. She lost in the Democratic primary on June 9, 2020.

Righter was a Democratic candidate for West Virginia state auditor in the 2016 elections. She was defeated in the May 10 primary election.

Robin Righter is from Shinnston, West Virginia and graduated from Fairmont State College with a B.S. in accounting. She worked in the State Auditor's office first as deputy social security administrator then as a program administrator. Righter then left the auditor's office to work as Chief Operations Officer in the private sector. She moved back to Shinnston in 2007 and began working as a self-employed insurance agent. She also participates in several other small business ventures and serves as treasurer for the local First United Methodist Church and the Shinnston Historical Association. [1]
