Collapse all
|Sarah is an Air Force veteran, a full-time working mother, and an elected town councilor. Sarah was born and raised in the district and stands on the shoulders of three generations of labor. Sarah is the first in her family to earn her college degree, and she understands the impacts of the student loan repayment schedules. Washington D.C. labeled Sarah a non-traditional candidate because she comes from working class roots. But this is her strength – her ability to connect and understand the challenges of the district.
Sarah works in economic development and directs a clean technology incubator, working at the intersection of environmental policy, technology development and funding. She directly supports the scientists and small businesses creating the technology to address climate change.
- Sarah is the champion for working families. Washington D.C. labeled Sarah a non-traditional candidate because she's from a working class, laborer family. She does not come generational wealth or political connections. Outsider money and special interest is trying to buy this seat, Sarah is the local choice fighting for our communities..
- Sarah's top 3 priorities include: healthcare, childcare, and jobs
- Sarah's already got a stake in the game - she's raising a family in the district.
Sarah is committed to ensuring all Americans have access to: single-payer universal healthcare, affordable childcare, family medical
leave, and expanded college and trade access. Sarah has experienced how together, they change the trajectories of lives.
Sarah is committed to and already addressing climate change. She understands our future depends on aggressive policy and smart funding to meet this moment.
Sarah is also a champion for women’s rights and will ensure people have access to reproductive healthcare, to
include abortions, because Sarah has lived the trauma of a medical system that ignores pregnancies that do not end in a live birth.
