William Collinson
William Robert Collinson (1912-1995) was a federal judge on the Eastern and the Western District Courts of Missouri.
Collinson was nominated simultaneously to both courts by President Lyndon Johnson on July 14, 1965, to a seat vacated by Richard Duncan; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 11, 1965, and received commission that same day. He assumed senior status on August 19, 1980, and served in that capacity until his death on June 1, 1995. Collinson was succeeded in this positin by Joseph Stevens.
