We are Media Bounty, an independent ethical, creative and media agency. We believe in the long-term growth of our people, our clients, and protecting the world for future generations. Together, these three things (people, planet, purpose) make us more than just a creative and media agency. We are an agency that gives a shit. Yes, about the work, but also about the humans that work with us and in the industry – their lives, their families and their mental health. We believe that business and brands do not live in a vacuum but can make a massive contribution to society. We strongly believe in the importance of a work-life balance, which is why we're genuine advocates of flexible working. Working from home is also an established part of our culture. Our staff have up to five days of supplementary paid holiday leave to use for voluntary work in the community as part of their employment contract. To date, our employees have taken part in a broad range of activities including listening to local children read in schools; supporting youth groups with mentoring and summer camps; cooking and serving meals in shelters for the homeless; gardening for an urban bee project; building an artificial reef in Thailand and supporting the elderly LGBTQ+ community. In the ten years since we were founded, we have supported our charity partner, World Land Trust, an international conservation charity protecting critically threatened habitat, acre by acre. To date, we have donated almost £55,000 and saved critically threatened habitat that’s equivalent to the size of Monaco. We also co-founded the Conscious Advertising Network (CAN), which aims to ensure industry ethics catch up with the technology of modern advertising by eradicating ad fraud, producing diverse content, ensuring brands are not funding hate speech or deliberately misleading ‘fake news’.

Today is the day! We are relaunching our Children’s Rights and Wellbeing manifesto. This document sets out six guiding principles for advertisers and agencies to work towards and aspire to keep children safe online. Recommendations include embedding safety-by-design in the development and distribution of advertising, supporting child users’ decision making, and placing advertising that is age appropriate by design. We would like to acknowledge the input of leading individuals and organisations from across civil society and the advertising industry who have helped shape this document. This has helped us ensure that the advice contained within the manifesto reflects leading global actionable advice for advertisers. We have been honoured to work with groups such as Omnicom Media Group UK, NSPCC, 5Rights Foundation, and Barnardo's, as well as various academics and experts. Big news from Clean Creatives and B Lab - #Havas have lost their stripes 🐝 This decisive move against #greenwash is a win for B Corps, and a win for the planet.
👏 BREAKING NEWS: B Lab has officially revoked Havas’ B Corp certification in response to its work with fossil fuel polluter, Shell. Havas London, Havas Lemz, Havas New York, and Havas Immerse are no longer Certified B Corps. This decision follows pressure from 27 B Corps in the Clean Creatives network, as well as many other professionals and creatives advocating for urgent climate action across the Ad & PR industry. This wouldn’t have been possible without them. We want to thank B Lab for making the right call to protect their standards from agencies that want to use the certification as cover for greenwashing. We hope to see similar decisions made for other B Corp agencies that continue to work with fossil fuel polluters. B Lab said that “We thank the complainants in this case for their role in the investigation and encourage individuals with concerns about Certified B Corps to continue to use B Lab’s Public Complaint Process.” 🖊️ If you work in the Ad & PR industry and want to see Havas drop its fossil fuel clients next, you can sign the Clean Creatives pledge at cleancreatives.org

Happy London Climate Action Week! We’re celebrating with new work from Media Bounty and ACT Climate Labs in support of #Mission2025 - a collaborative effort by partners across the climate community. Live on electric ad vans, tube escalators and digital channels this week. The campaign highlights the growing hunger from all corners of the economy to make the most of burgeoning green industries. Analysis shows that the falling cost of green tech means that government climate plans can be at least tripled in ambition. As part of the Mission 2025 project, the overall aim of the work is to encourage policy makers to upgrade these plans.
