Keep your mirrors sparkling with this simple trick.

Mirrors can be a pain to keep clean. They're often splattered with toiletries and even if you only use your mirror for a quick outfit check before heading out, the surface can still gather dust.

However, one woman has shared a straightforward method to clean your mirrors and maintain their shine.

Plus, you won't have to worry about streaks on the surface, and you might not even need to pop to the shops as most of us will already have the necessary items at home.

Chantel Mila, who shares her tips on TikTok under the handle @mama_mila_, revealed her hack in a viral video where she demonstrated how she keeps the large mirrored surface of her built-in wardrobes spotless.

All you need is a spray bottle filled with one cup (250ml) of water, two tablespoons of white vinegar, and two tablespoons of rubbing alcohol.

Chantel also added lemon oil to her mixture for a fresh-smelling cleaning spray, but she mentioned this was "optional".

She then posted a clip of her spraying the mixture onto her mirror and wiping it down with a cloth, captioning it: "This powerful mix cuts through grime.

"The rubbing alcohol makes it quick drying to give mirrors a streak-free shine."

Many households are likely to have white vinegar stashed away, a staple for many cleaning tricks and culinary uses. If you're running low, Tesco offers it at a steal for just 35p.

Rubbing alcohol - also known as surgical spirit in the UK - can often be found in first aid kits as it is useful as an antiseptic and can be sourced from Amazon for a mere £2.71 or even cheaper at Superdrug for £2.19.

Chantel's video showcasing the cleaning hack left viewers astounded, with numerous comments hailing it as a miraculous discovery.

One viewer exclaimed, "This is a miracle worker, thank you!"

Another eager to try the method shared, "Wonderful! Can't wait to try it."
