Sara Seyed, an absolute boss and the ultimate multi-hyphenate, is officially joining the #ArtsForEverybody movement as our newest ambassador! 💫🎉 Sara is an incredible actress, writer, producer, and international lawyer specializing in human and children’s rights and feminist legal theory. Her impressive resume includes an acting residency at the Moscow Art Theatre and the American Repatory, and she graduated from Harvard University in 2018 with a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Theatre. 🎓✨ You’ve seen her work alongside Emmy and Golden Globe winners in shows like "Young Wallander" on Netflix and “Physical” on Apple TV 🎬🎭. But her talents don’t stop there—in her legal work, Sara has tackled issues such as sexual violence and human trafficking, collaborating with organizations like Amnesty International. You get an “artivist” like Nikkolas Smith, the newest ambassador in the #ArtsForEveryBody Movement 🌟 Nikkolas allows his bold art to speak volumes for the African-American community, illustrating their experiences and social injustices. He began to receive recognition for his tribute pieces honoring Black Lives Matter Movement figures like George Floyd. He’s also collaborated with The Walt Disney Company to create film promotion art for Black Panther and Soul. Did we mention that he’s also an NAACP nominated author? 📚 Some of his most notable books are “Golden Girls in Rio,” a celebration of the black achievements at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and “My Hair is Poofy and That’s Okay,” a book that encourages self-acceptance in young African American girls. Nikkolas embodies the #ArtsForEveryBody Movement by using his art as a voice of change in his community 💜. Julissa is best known for her portrayal as Yessika Castillo in the Netflix series Gentefeild, where she portrayed a passionate activist fighting against the gentrification of her Mexican-American neighborhood. Her commitment to advocating for social and racial issues lies in her work, using her platform to bring visibility to Afro-Latinas and other marginalized communities.
