We are pleased to announce that the El Sol Energy Storage Center, our 10th battery storage project in Arizona, has reached commercial operations. The 50-megawatt addition of El Sol increases Invenergy’s storage portfolio in Arizona to nearly 200 megawatts. The importance of battery storage for Arizona communities has been amplified by the extreme heat waves this summer and the record-breaking demand for energy in the state as residents try to stay cool. But we have a solution: clean energy. Domestically produced clean energy offers us energy independence and ensures that we'll have reliable power when and where we need it. So when we talk about energy, let's talk about how investing in our grid and investing in cleaner energy means investing in a more secure America. #USEnergy #EnergyTransition

Paul Gillham's 19 year-long career at Invenergy started with a wind project he helped build on his family's own land. Joining Invenergy as an operations and maintenance (O&M) Manager, he oversaw the Spring Canyon Energy Center as it reached commercial operations on his grandfather's farm in 2006. Today, as Vice President of Renewable O&M - U.S., Paul continues drawing on his small-town roots to lead Invenergy's O&M teams as they develop meaningful connections in the communities where they work, live and operate.
