LEAD Class of 2025 Mentor Program Highlight We officially kicked off the LEAD Class of 2025 Mentoring program two weeks ago, and we are delighted that the pairs are already meeting up! Here’s a snapshot of Kerri Sauer '17 and her LEAD ’25 mentee, Timka Lockheart at the 2nd Annual Payments Inclusion Forum hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The LEAD Mentoring Program allows active Leadership Atlanta alumni to support current LEAD class members civically, professionally, and personally throughout the program year. We thank and celebrate alumni like Kerri who choose to participate year after year!

We are thankful for our Leadership Team and volunteers who continue to give back. Dan Gordon ’15/ LEAD ’09 has held many roles at Leadership Atlanta including Alumni Membership Co-Chair and Board Chair. This year, we are excited to have him support the organization as the Program Chair for the Class of 2025!   “Leadership Atlanta changed my life. I gained a much deeper understanding of Atlanta, our inequities, leadership, and how to make a more effective impact as an executive and community member. The relationships and experiences I have gained through LEAD Atlanta ‘09, Leadership Atlanta ‘15, and as a Board Member have been nothing short of extraordinary.”

We just wrapped up our Summer Pickleball League! Congrats to Tameka Rish ’20, Richard Makerson ’20, and Ryan Esparza ’22 for taking home 1st place in the Championship Game. Shout out to our 2nd place team, Kristina Christy ’20/ LEAD '05, Jay Cranman ’18, Michael Alexander ’16, and Mona Harty (She / Her) ’13. Congratulations to all players this season! We are looking forward to kicking off our Fall Season in October. Our 6-game season will be played on Sundays with games at 4pm and 5 pm at the Atlanta Pickleball Center.
