This past Monday, North Memorial Health participated in the Robbinsdale Meet and Greet, hosted by the ROBBINSDALE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. Our team offered stroke education, information about ambulance services, and family birth center resources—connecting with patients, sharing stories, and celebrating what we've accomplished together. Congratulations to North - Robbinsdale Hospital's recent DAISY Award winners! Reina, a PACT nurse, was recognized after going above and beyond when a patient seemed confused during a routine call. Reina checked recent notes, reached out to the radiology nurse, and, unable to contact the patient’s family, called 911. The patient was later admitted to the hospital with a mini stroke. Thank you, Reina, for your quick thinking and dedication to patient safety at North! Our 33rd Annual Foundation Golf Tournament raised a record-breaking $230,000+ in support of our cardiovascular services! 260 golfers and 75 sponsors gathered at Rush Creek Golf Club on July 1 for a beautiful day of golf while supporting a critical and growing need in the community, capping their 18 holes with a few words from a grateful patient who is recovering from double bypass surgery thanks to our amazing cardiology team. ❤️ A HUGE thank you to all our generous sponsors, donors, and volunteers for making this event possible!
