A heartfelt thank you to The Bridge Transcends and Marsh McLennan for their incredible support at our recent volunteer event. Their generous donation of new baby care items for survivors in our domestic violence shelters, along with heartfelt letters of support for our staff, truly made a difference. Your efforts bring immense joy to those we serve!
We are thrilled to share the incredible volunteer event that took place last week, hosted by Marsh in collaboration with The Bridge and Safe Horizon. Safe Horizon is a remarkable non-profit victim services agency serving 250K children, adults, and families throughout NYC. During the event, our dedicated team came together with a shared purpose: to make a positive difference in our community. We packed and decorated over 200 kits filled with over 1,600 diapers, 200+ baby wipes and 200+ onesies sponsored by The Bridge with the generous use of space by Marsh to enable us to work and network; ensuring that essential items reach those who need them the most. But that's not all! We also crafted heartfelt thank you cards for the dedicated Safe Horizon staff, expressing our gratitude for their tireless efforts in supporting the community. The event was not only about giving back, but also about building strong bonds within our team. We engaged in team-building activities and had the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work that Safe Horizon does. In addition, we held a diaper collection as diapers are one of the most needed items for families in crisis. Thank you to all of our volunteers and those who donated diapers! Your contributions will make a significant impact on the lives of those in shelters throughout NYC. Together, we are making a positive change in our community.
