On our last day at HLTH Europe, Emily Reiser hosted a startup showcase featuring three international companies that are part of our Healthtech Accelerator. We had the privilege of hearing from Hicham Shatou, founder and CEO of LeQuest (Netherlands); Pahini Pandya, founder and CEO of Panakeia Technologies (UK); and Patty Lee, co-founder and CEO of Orbit Health (Denmark). They shared some of their strategies for US market entry and how TMC was instrumental in supporting their efforts. We have the privilege of sharing that our President and CEO Dr. Marc Boom was honored with one of Houston’s most prestigious awards: the Stephen L. Klineberg Award. Named for the Kinder Institute for Urban Research's founding director, the Klineberg Award recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact on Greater Houston. Dr. Boom was honored for his outstanding leadership in health care, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the support from our organization, he led the way for the rest of the country. This award recognizes him for that courage.
