Lapisara has the whole package. Great location for food traffic, really quick service, delightful personalities from the staff (including the owner who greets you at the door), and the FOOD! The menu carries a wonderful blend of American character to draw you in, but a wonderful amalgamation of Thai influences. From the Thai basil potatoes, the pickled radish, and the various breakfast and brunch dishes that really put the Thai flavors in the spotlight.
The price points on these dishes appear on point give the location, the overhead for the location, the quality of the ingredients and the blend of fresh flavors and characterized nuances all through the dishes. It's a wonderful place and would definitely come back here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Asian fusion and brunch? Sign me up! My companion chose to take me out here which was an enjoyable experience for us both. We both love Thai food and brunch so the fact that we were able to dine at a restaurant offering traditional Thai breakfast items, classic American fare, and a mix of both was the perfect harmony. Lapisara Eatery is among one the more popular brunch spots in downtown San Francisco so reservations or arriving early is recommended.
He made reservations for us on a weekday in the early afternoon. Reservations are only available Tuesday-Thursday and for dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant is humbly decorated, casual and pastel, and roomy considering it's on the corner. Throughout our dining experience we experienced warm, accommodating, and hospital service. Our meals came out in a timely matter and were of great quality!
I'm a huge egg stan so of course I had to try their take on eggs! I went for the Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette which came with ground chicken, onions and bell peppers, plus thai basil, chili, and garlic. It was the biggest omelette I've ever had! I expected this dish to be spicy but it wasn't. The dish was well seasoned, savory yet lightly sweet, and soft from the chicken but crunchy from the veggies. My companion ordered their Tom Yum Burrito which intrigued both of us. I had a bite and my mouth was on fire--it's spicy! The burrito is flavorful and moist with a sweet and sour tang to it. I wouldn't order it but am glad he gave me a bite.
Lapisara serves a beautiful and palatable mix of different cultures allowing diners to experience authentically blended dishes. Some items off the menu include savory and sweet brunch entrees, egg dishes, griddle items, plus salads and sandwiches. They truly serve food for every and anyone's palate and preferences all with the friendliest service. You can find the eatery off of Post Street with street parking nearby or close to public transportation. This is a must-spot for brunch lovers in the city, I'd go back for sure!Helpful 30Thanks 6Love this 32Oh no 0Business owner information

I had the brioche french toast and the premium burger. The burger is one of the best I've had! And the fries are also amazing. French toast is also a good choice. Our party was quite late and they were still quite accommodating.

Not much of a brunch fan, but I love Thai food so I had to come here and try it!
Came at 10:30am on a Sunday and luckily got seated right away. It was pretty packed but the service was incredible! So attentive and fast, they kept checking in to make sure we were okay.
We ordered a fried chicken Benedict and a Tom yum burrito. I was skeptical about the Tom yum burrito but WOW it had so much flavor! Tasted very sour and tangy, just like Tom yum should. I was pleasantly surprised. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and the batter was so well seasoned. Taking off one star bc the eggs in the Benedict weren't runny (which they're supposed to be). They were poached but pretty hard with no soft yolk.
Overall I would come back and would want to try the full Thai dinner menuHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

We ordered the crab omelette and crab benedict. Both dishes came with greens and potatoes. We wanted to be electronic free so no photos unfortunately. The dishes were absolutely delicious. We also ordered a blue margarita and the good day cocktail, lovely drinks!
Service was good, nothing bad but nothing over the top amazing. But seated rather fast!
Ate outside and the weather was sumblime. The only thing was the seating outside is on a small incline, enough for the drinks to slide on the table.
Otherwise, a staple we will be coming back to.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Great service, wonderful atmosphere and an elevated brunch experience. I've been here three times now and its food is consistently high quality but served promptly. I had the all meat omelette with potatoes and salad while my wife had the eggs and pancakes. I also tried the mixed berry juice and the Thai iced tea, it was all excellent!

Every time we're in San Francisco, a visit to Lapisara is a must! Conveniently located within walking distance from our hotel, this spot never fails to impress. Although there's often a line after opening, it's deceptive; the queue progresses speedily. A haven for both breakfast and lunch enthusiasts, the dishes here are not only delicious but also visually striking, arguably some of the best-presented meals around.
From their eclectic drink offerings to fun variations of classic dishes, everything seems to have a twist. A standout for me was the Tom Yum Burrito. Transforming a familiar soup into a burrito form? Genius and scrumptious!
Even when the restaurant is bustling, the ambiance remains pleasantly subdued. The staff count is ample, ensuring that diners never feel neglected and that service is swift. Whether you're dining alone or with a group, Lapisara caters to all. With a mix of indoor and outdoor seating options, the setting is ideal for any occasion. Given the quality and service, the pricing is more than reasonable. Highly recommended!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I love this place
You definitely have to order the photo worthy teddy bear iced coffee drink! It's so cute and yummy. We also had the buttery garlic clams appetizer and crab fried rice; both of which were really delicious. Great ambience and the food are beautifully plated. If only they had a location in Sacramento....Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information
