Anant Ambani seeks divine blessings at Krishna Kali temple ahead of wedding; wears Rs 6.9 crore watch

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, is gearing up for his wedding with Radhika Merchant scheduled for July 12. Ahead of this auspicious occasion, Anant visited the Krishna Kali temple in Neral, Maharashtra on June 30, where he performed a havan ceremony to seek divine blessings. Speaking about his visit, Anant expressed his reverence, stating, "Bohot accha mandir sthapit kia hai. Mein shadi se pehle nimantran dene aaya hu aur mata ji ka, aur har ek sthapit bhagwan ka aashirwad lene aaya hu (The temple is very good. I have come here to invite the Gods and seek their blessings.)"

During his temple visit, Anant garnered attention not just for the rituals but also for his choice of attire, notably a red carbon Richard Mille watch (RM 12-01 Tourbillon). This limited edition timepiece, priced at Rs 6.91 crores (USD 828,000), underscored his distinctive style.

Accompanying Anant were his close friends, including Janhvi Kapoor's boyfriend Shikhar Pahadia and actor Veer Pahadia, who were seen at the temple premises. Shikhar Pahadia, driving Anant to the temple, and Veer Pahadia, seated in the back, joined him in traditional attire—Anant in a red kurta pyjama and maroon velvet jacket, Shikhar in a pink kurta with a jacket, and Veer in a yellow kurta. Actor Meezaan Jafri also arrived separately in a mauve kurta and white pajamas.

Anant Ambani's Pre-Wedding Celebrations

Anant's upcoming wedding has been preceded by extravagant pre-wedding celebrations, including events in Italy and Jamnagar, where global stars like Rihanna and performances by artists like Backstreet Boys and Katy Perry added to the festivities. The wedding itself is set to take place at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex.

Earlier, Anant's sister, Isha Ambani, had also visited the Krishna Kali temple to perform a havan, accompanied by Anand Piramal. Her simple yet elegant attire and minimalistic approach resonated well with the solemnity of the occasion.

Anant and Radhika, childhood friends turned partners, have kept their relationship private until recent public appearances together at family events sparked widespread speculation. Their engagement in January 2023 was followed by lavish celebrations and a luxury cruise, setting the stage for their upcoming union.
