    Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal, who is one of the newest ‘Sharks’ in the latest season of ‘Shark Tank India’, revealed that he had met the ‘Baahubali’ star while travelling on a plane.

    Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal, who is one of the newest ‘Sharks’ in the latest season of ‘Shark Tank India’, revealed that he had met the ‘Baahubali’ star while travelling on a plane.

    Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the entrepreneur shared a picture of himself posing with the superstar and wrote about their interaction. He revealed that the actor is also a prolific investor.

    “On my way to catch a flight, I recently bumped into @RanaDaggubati at the airport. As we got conversing in Telugu he told me he ardently follows @SharkTankIndia. Not many people know, but he is an angel investor with a wide interest in multiple domains of technology and has actively invested in many startups. Maybe he could be a shark someday?” reads the post.

    The tweet went viral and gained 134K views and 1.5K likes. Several netizens were highly impressed with Daggubati’s entrepreneurial bent of mind. “Rana is one of my biggest inspirations. He possesses an immense amount of talent and knowledge which I aspire to reach one day, such an icon,” wrote a fan.

    • A true visionary, Daggubati floated Spirit Media, one of India’s very first animation and visual effects studios in 2005.
    • In 2018, he became an investor in the talent management agency Kwan Entertainment.
    • That same year, he entered into a partnership with Anthill Ventures a startup incubator focused on tech-based businesses, particularly in the realms of AI, machine learning etc.
    • He is also a major stakeholder in India’s biggest comic book publishing company the ‘Amar Chitra Katha’.
