An unverified video has gone viral on social media. As per reports, the officer has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur and the altercation between her and the actress-turned-politician happened around 3:30 pm. However, ET has not independently verified the video and the facts related to the incident.

Upon arriving in Delhi, Kangna Ranaut reportedly met with CISF Director General Nina Singh and other senior officials to explain the incident.

During the 2020-2021 farmer agitation against the three farm laws, Kangana Ranaut allegedly misidentified a woman farmer from Punjab as Bilkis Bano, an elderly woman who gained international attention during the anti-CAA protests in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh. Ranaut shared a post on Twitter (now X) suggesting that the "Shaheen Bagh Dadi" had joined the farmers' protests at Delhi's border points. With the caption stating the "same Dadi" featured in Time Magazine was "available in 100 rupees," Ranaut retweeted the post with pictures of two elderly women, including Bilkis Bano. She later deleted her posts after Twitter users pointed out the two women were different.
