    Italian teenager Blessed Carlo Acutis has become the first Millenial to be canonized as a saint, reports 'USA Today'. He died of Cancer at the age of 15. According to the Catholic News Agency, the College of Cardinals voted for his canonization and he will become a saint in 2025. Declaring his canonization, Bishop of Assisi, Domenico Sorrentino said that Carlo Acutis was an ordinary boy, who lived his childhood and youth between family, school, and the games children play.

    He also said that Acutis lived a life of faith that was nurtured until it reached a peak that now makes him stand out in the eyes of the Church and the world as a saint. He confirmed that two medical miracles have been attributed to him, who was known as "God's influencer."

    According to the Vatican News, Born on May 3, 1991, in London and died on October 12, 2006, in Italy after battling leukemia, Acutis wanted to be a priest before his death. His beatification took place in 2020. It means the pope declared Acutis attained the blessedness of heaven, and he was given the title of Blessed.

    Vatican News has reported that a university student in Florence fell off her bike and suffered severe head trauma and required craniotomy surgery. He had a low chance of survival. However, he recovered and the miraculous recovery is attributed to Acutis.
