AP Exit Poll 2024 News Live Updates: Exit polls have predicted a major upset in Andhra Pradesh as TDP (Telugu Desam Party) and alliance parties are expected to get a huge mandate. As per KK Survey, TDP+ is said to be winning 161 seats out of the total 175 assembly seats while YSRCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party), is said to be getting just 14 seats.
The state is known for lending its support to the local parties.

The ruling YSRCP has thrown its hat into the electoral ring, aiming for all 175 seats. Under a seat-sharing agreement within the NDA coalition, the TDP has been allocated 144 Assembly seats, while the BJP, boosted by Prime Minister Modi's popularity, is contesting for 10 seats. Additionally, Janasena is facing a tough task as it seeks to enhance its performance, which saw disappointing results in previous elections. Janasena is competing for 21 seats.
YSRCP has focused on its welfare initiatives from the last five years during campaigning, while the NDA has time and again criticized the state government's perceived failures and promised benefits if elected, including job creation.
Congress in its manifesto promised granting special category status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh for a decade.
