Israel-Gaza News Updates: Around 70 pc of Gaza homes damaged or destroyed, says report
Israel-Gaza News Updates: The Israeli military has extensively damaged buildings in Gaza City, with around half of them and nearly 70% of homes affected, according to a Wall Street Journal report. The analysis used satellite imagery and remote sensing methods, revealing damage to factories, houses of prayer, schools, and other structures. Israel contends that these sites were used by Gaza terror groups for military purposes. Basic infrastructure in Gaza, including hospitals, water, electricity, and communications, has been severely impacted. The ongoing conflict has led to extensive destruction, and some experts have likened Gaza to cities like Dresden in terms of historical bombings. Israeli forces continue to strike terror cells and infrastructure in Gaza, including battles in Gaza City and air raids in various locations. Israeli military activity is also concentrated in preparation for a potential advance into Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
