Leopard at Modi's swearing-in? Netizens spot mysterious feline shadow in Rashtrapati Bhavan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath for a third consecutive term after two full terms where the BJP held a majority independently. At 73, PM Modi now matches former PM Jawaharlal Nehru's record of three consecutive terms. Dignitaries and special invitees from neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean Region attended the swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. However, an uninvited guest caught the attention of social media users.

A viral video from the oath-taking ceremony captured an unexpected guest at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The clip, which showed an animal walking in the background as BJP MP Durga Das Uikey signed the register, sparked widespread speculation on social media.

    Speculations and Reactions
The video led to a flurry of comments and theories online, with some users suggesting the animal was a leopard. One user on 'X' stated, "Just came across this viral video from the oath ceremony of @narendramodi ji held at @rashtrapatibhvn. As per the video, a leopard was seen roaming casually. Very risky." Another user humorously commented, "Free Safari Experience for Guests at Oath Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan."

    Official Clarifications
Delhi Police quickly addressed the rumors, confirming there are no leopards within Rashtrapati Bhavan. "We checked with Rashtrapati Bhavan security whether the animal was a leopard after the video surfaced on social media. They said there was no leopard inside. There are only dogs and cats inside the President House," said a police official.

Additionally, the Delhi Police posted a statement on social media: "Some media channels & SM handles are showing an animal captured during the live telecast of oath taking ceremony held at the R.P. Bhavan yesterday, claiming it to be a wild animal. Claims of a wild animal at the ceremony are false. It was not wild. Ignore such baseless rumors."
