Rahul Gandhi on replay: BJP misleads on facts but can't hide truth

MANDSAUR (MP): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday accused BJP of disguising facts saying, “BJP men show you all green and good, which is far away from the truth,” he said, adding no matter what they (BJP) do, they can’t hide the truth by presenting a false picture.

Referring to a UN report , Gandhi said one lakh kids died in the state of hunger over the past five years. “How can the BJP government in MP talk of development ? I often ask BJP parliamentarians why they’re against the right to food? They say that if you give anything free to the poor, they’ll be dependent all their lives,” he recounted to his audience.

Hitting out at corruption in BJP, he said, both Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are in the race to outsmart each other in this field. “11 ministers in MP’s BJP government face corruption charges,” he said, adding that the state’s plight will improve only if Congress comes to power.
